Policy and Procedures

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and healing environment for all clients. The following policies help us maintain clear communication, uphold professional standards, and ensure mutual respect and trust.

Cancellation Policy

We value your time and your commitment to the healing process. We understand that unanticipated events can arise, and we aim to offer fairness and flexibility while honoring our time and that of others.

  • 48 Hours Notice: We greatly appreciate at least 48 hours’ notice for appointment changes or cancellations.

  • 24 Hours Minimum: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows time to offer the space to another client in need of support.

  • Missed Appointments: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments will be charged the full cost of the session, unless due to emergencies.

  • Rebooking: Payment for missed sessions must be completed prior to booking your next appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a respectful healing space.

Late Arrivals

Out of respect for everyone’s time:

  • A 10-minute grace period is extended before a courtesy call or text.

  • If you expect to be late, please notify via text as soon as possible.

  • Depending on the remaining time, your session may need to be shortened. Full session fees will still apply for shortened sessions due to late arrival.

Confidentiality Policy

Your privacy is essential to our work together.

  • All personal records are securely stored in a locked filing cabinet and are never shared without written consent.

  • Information shared during sessions is completely confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone unless required by law or with your written permission.

  • As a practitioner, I uphold strict ethical and legal confidentiality standards in all client interactions.

Professional Boundaries

Maintaining a safe and respectful environment is of utmost importance:

  • Zero Tolerance: Any inappropriate behavior, including sexual comments or advances, will result in the immediate termination of the session. The client will be asked to leave and not reschedule.

  • Sensitive Areas: If treatment includes work in sensitive areas (chest, low back, hips, gluteal region), the practitioner will always ask for verbal consent and maintain open communication throughout.

  • Consent & Autonomy: Both client and practitioner have full permission to pause or stop the session at any time, for any reason.

  • Draping: Professional draping with clean sheets is maintained at all times. Clients may undress to their level of comfort and will remain covered except for the area being worked on.
